Daily Schedule
8:30 Children and Families welcomed in to the School House. Students transition into morning activities.
8:30-9:30 Open Play. Children have the opportunity to work and play in mixed-age groups, revisit their own past work, or work on projects together with their teacher.
9:30 Morning Meeting, Breakfast Snack
10-10:30 Small Group Focus Work (Art Studio; Writer’s Workshop; Outdoor Ed)
10:30-11:30 Outdoor Play (Weather Permitting; otherwise, Playroom & Art Studio)
11:30-12:00 Circle Time
12:00-1:00 Lunch. Children who have finished eating enjoy relaxing Free Play
1:00-3:00 Nap Time. We all go in to the house together for quiet stories, music, and rest.
*2-3:30 Art Studio or Garden with awake children*
3:30 Tea-Time Snack is served.
4:00-4:30 Enrichment Class (throughout the week, visiting specialists educate our children on subjects such as Spanish, Gardening, Music, Cooking, Yoga, or Peaceful Martial Arts) and/or Outside & Art (pending weather & student interest)
4:30-5:30 Outside Free Play as kids start going home.
5:30 By this time, all children must be signed-out. Mixed Greens is closed until the next lovely day!
